A true multi-domain solution

Cleardrone sensors are even more powerful when integrated across domains

Modern defense-oriented crisis response requires seamless airspace surveillance, which is being reimagined and implemented through a multi-domain solution. Drone detection is no longer an isolated system, but rather the link between, for example, helicopter aviation and mobile ground defense. Since unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) pose a massive threat to both helicopters flying at low altitudes and armored vehicles on the ground, cross-domain defense is essential.

The key to this approach lies in software-based defense. Instead of rigid hardware silos, a central, AI-powered software platform integrates data streams from a wide variety of sensors—such as radar, high-frequency scanners, and electro-optical cameras. This software processes the information in real time, classifies the threat, and simultaneously distributes the situational picture to all units.

When a helicopter is on a mission, its onboard sensors immediately share detection data with the tanks on the ground. Conversely, ground-based systems warn the helicopter of lurking kamikaze drones. This software-based networking enables automated, coordinated countermeasures (hard and soft kill) across the entire formation. The digital integration of air and ground forces creates a dynamic, resilient protective shield that responds flexibly to software updates and effectively neutralizes asymmetric threats.
