CLEARDRONE protected as a trademark
Cleardrone stands for drone detection from Europe
On June 20, 2024, it was confirmed by the European Patent and Trademark Office: CLEARDRONE is now a protected brand name for drone detection technology from Europe.
"Just over four years ago, we began our journey to develop a reliable drone detection technology that would be small, mobile and powerful for use on board aircraft," says Jens Rosenow, Overall Program Manager Drone Detection, and adds: "With the trademark protection that has now been granted, it is clear that the name CLEARDRONE not only belongs to Europe, but also comes from the heart of Europe itself."
The origin of the system development can be traced back to an increase in incidents in which hobby drones came ever closer to rescue helicopters in particular, and in isolated cases massively endangered the safety of air traffic as well as the crew on board.
